Trelawney Handmade Artisan Soap
The fragrance is Earl Grey and Apple which is a lovely blend that is like stepping into a tea shop that carries a variety of teas. Notes of earl grey, apple, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, anise, geranium, ginger, black tea and pears. I cannot get enough of this scent.
This is part of the Harry Potter inspired collection. When I think of Trelawney I definitely think of tea. I hope you will not see the Grim in the swirls of this soap. The color palette is in earth tones, which I believe represents Sybill Trelawney's personal style.
This soap is a Second Edition. The first edition can be seen in the last picture.
Ingredients: Olive Oil (Olea Europea), Distilled Water, Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera), Palm Kernel Oil (Elaeis Guieensis), Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis), Almond Oil (Prunus Dulcis), Kaolin Clay, Fragrance, and Skin Safe Colorants.
Note: Each bar is approximately four ounces (113 grams). Typically, each bar weighs more. Please note that this is a handmade product. The design and colors vary from bar to bar.
Use: I think this goes without saying but get it wet. I employ the method of lathering directly onto my body, working up a good lather, and then using the wash cloth. But hey, you do you. Also, USE the soap. Don’t put it on your shelf because it matches your décor. If you do this you’re missing out on the best part, and we probably shouldn’t be friends. If you experience any type of discomfort or irritation using the soap, please discontinue use.
Make It Last: Keep the bar dry in between uses. Handmade soaps have naturally occurring glycerin, and that bad boy will suction itself down to a flat surface. To prevent this, place on a grooved soap dish. This will also allow the water to drain off. No soap dish? Stand it on its edge. Also, cutting your soap in half is an excellent way to get more out of every bar. I know this sounds like soap murder but trust me… you want the bar to last.
