White Way of Delight Handmade Artisan Soap
A delicate and delectable blend of apple, peach, melon and white flowers.
Originally the soap was white with pink swilrs. However, this soap was shredded and then rebatched since the light fragrance disappeared during the cure time. Since it is a beautiful fragrance, I wanted to include it in the collection.
This soap is part of the Anne of Green Gables inspired collection. When Matthew is driving Anne to Green Gables, they rounded a curve that revealed a stretch of road lined with apple trees and covered with a canopy of white blossoms "But they shouldn't call that lovely place the Avenue. There is no meaning in a name like that. They should call it--let me see--the White Way of Delight. Isn't that a nice imaginative name?
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Babassu Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Aloe Vera Juice, Palm Oil, Lard, Kaolin Clay, Fragrance, and Skin Safe Colorants.
Note: Each bar is approximately four ounces. Typically, each bar weighs more. Please note that this is a handmade product. The design and colors vary from bar to bar.
Use: I think this goes without saying but get it wet. I employ the method of lathering directly onto my body, working up a good lather, and then using the wash cloth. But hey, you do you. Also, USE the soap. Don’t put it on your shelf because it matches your décor. If you do this you’re missing out on the best part, and we probably shouldn’t be friends (just kidding, if you love handmade soap then we're already besties). If you experience any type of discomfort or irritation using the soap, please discontinue use.
Make It Last: Keep the bar dry in between uses. Handmade soaps have naturally occurring glycerin, and that bad boy will suction itself down to a flat surface. To prevent this, place on a grooved soap dish. This will also allow the water to drain off. No soap dish? Stand it on its edge. Also, cutting your soap in half is an excellent way to get more out of every bar. I know this sounds like soap murder but trust me… you want the bar to last.
