The dark color of this soap comes from the brewed coffee used to replace the water that is typically used when making soap. It also contains coffee grounds, colloidal oatmeal, and greek yogurt. There is no fragrance added. This would be a great bar to keep by the kitchen sink to help remove odors, but it can also be used on the entire body.

The addition of the coffee grounds provides a bit of scrubbiness.

Colloidal oatmeal helps skin retain moisture and soothe dry or irritated skin.

Yogurt contains lactic acid which is great for softening and brightening skin.

This soap is palm free.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coffee, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Babassu Oil, Almond Oil, Coffee Grounds, Colloidal Oatmeal, Greek Yogurt, Sugar.

Note: Each bar is approximately four ounces. Typically, each bar weighs more. Please note that this is a handmade product. The design and colors vary from bar to bar.

Use:  I think this goes without saying but get it wet. I employ the method of lathering directly onto my body, working up a good lather, and then using the wash cloth. But hey, you do you. Also, USE the soap. Don’t put it on your shelf because it matches your décor. If you do this you’re missing out on the best part, and we probably shouldn’t be friends. If you experience any type of discomfort or irritation using the soap, please discontinue use.

Make It Last:  Keep the bar dry in between uses. Handmade soaps have naturally occurring glycerin, and that bad boy will suction itself down to a flat surface. To prevent this, place on a grooved soap dish. This will also allow the water to drain off. No soap dish? Stand it on its edge. Also, cutting your soap in half is an excellent way to get more out of every bar. I know this sounds like soap murder but trust me… you want the bar to last.
