Lord John Grey Handmade Artisan Soap
A rainy, salty mist with accompanying notes of basil, ozone, lily, rose, jasmine, violet, sandalwood and tonka bean. This scent is clean and coastal.
What else would Lord John Grey smell like but a rainy day on the coast of England? This scent is unlike the others found in the Outlander inspired soap line, much like John Grey himself. There is a hint of floral to compliment the clean, coastal scent.
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Babassu Oil, Almond Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Lard, Kaolin Clay, Fragrance, and Skin Safe Colorants.
Note: Each bar is approximately four ounces. Typically, each bar weighs more. Please note that this is a handmade product. The design and colors vary from bar to bar.
Use: I think this goes without saying but get it wet. I employ the method of lathering directly onto my body, working up a good lather, and then using the wash cloth. But hey, you do you. Also, USE the soap. Don’t put it on your shelf because it matches your décor. If you do this you’re missing out on the best part, and we probably shouldn’t be friends. If you experience any type of discomfort or irritation using the soap, please discontinue use.
Make It Last: Keep the bar dry in between uses. Handmade soaps have naturally occurring glycerin, and that bad boy will suction itself down to a flat surface. To prevent this, place on a grooved soap dish. This will also allow the water to drain off. No soap dish? Stand it on its edge. Also, cutting your soap in half is an excellent way to get more out of every bar. I know this sounds like soap murder but trust me… you want the bar to last.
