Wild Rumpus Handmade Artisan Soap

Regular price $7.00 $0.00

This is a woody and aromatic scent with notes of vetiver, musk, sandalwood, cedar, amber incense, juniper and citrus.

This soap is a re-batch of a variety of soap shreds which produced a wildly cool design. When combined with the outdoorsy scent, I was transported to an island inhabited with wild beasts.  The name is inspired by one of my favorite childhood reads, "Where the Wild Things Are".
What is a re-batch? It is the ultimate way to reduce, reuse, and recycle! A re-batch may contain scraps of soap saved during the cutting and beveling process or soaps that just didn't hold their scent. This particular batch has the added bonus of containing avocado oil and aloe vera juice to add a little extra something for your skin's enjoyment.
This soap is not palm free and contains lard.  It also lathers gray due to activated charcoal.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Babassu Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Aloe Vera Juice, Palm Oil, Lard, Kaolin Clay, Fragrance, and Skin Safe Colorants.

Note: Each bar is approximately four ounces. Typically, each bar weighs more. Please note that this is a handmade product. The design and colors vary from bar to bar.

Use:  I think this goes without saying but get it wet. I employ the method of lathering directly onto my body, working up a good lather, and then using the wash cloth. But hey, you do you. Also, USE the soap. Don’t put it on your shelf because it matches your décor. If you do this you’re missing out on the best part, and we probably shouldn’t be friends (just kidding, if you love handmade soap then we're already besties). If you experience any type of discomfort or irritation using the soap, please discontinue use.

Make It Last:  Keep the bar dry in between uses. Handmade soaps have naturally occurring glycerin, and that bad boy will suction itself down to a flat surface. To prevent this, place on a grooved soap dish. This will also allow the water to drain off. No soap dish? Stand it on its edge. Also, cutting your soap in half is an excellent way to get more out of every bar. I know this sounds like soap murder but trust me… you want the bar to last.
